If anyone uses philfer as a game engine to play Z-code games or the glulx games from the if-archive fiction site; there is a newly updated release. The new Philfer release has many bugs fixes and also stops problems with the game engine or the game itself crashing. You can find it under the interpreters section of the if-archive site or go to the pcs games site, click on huge list of games and go to the link for Jimmy Mayor's page. Sorry about the spelling of his name. You can download the philfer game engine directly from the if-archive site and it is also on that site under the recent post for the last week section. There is an installer package, the philfer itself and a source code for anyone interested in seeing how it was created. Philfer is not sappy enabled so you will need your screen reader set to the read all function.
This game engine and download are completely free!

Note:
Be on the watch for a new winfrots tts game engine for the Z-code games that uses Sappy to read to you the games.
